So, here it is, MandaMade.com the beading blog. Enjoy!! Love, kisses, and many thanks to my husband for putting up with my picky choices and getting the site all set up for me (and then redoing it when we found it wouldn‘t work quite like we wanted for people viewing with “normal“ sized computer screens)!
Those of you who have been to my website before will remember seeing one or both of the different store designs I had, both also courtesy of my husband. A few months ago he switched all of the sites he hosted to other servers and we decided to put a hold on going through the set up process for mine. No one was buying anything off of it, and I hadn’t really been doing anything to promote it in awhile. So my site has been down while I decided what I wanted to do with it. A few weeks ago my husband and I started talking about it and what I really want to use the site for. Really, all my site ended up being for was a place to tell people to go if they wanted to see more of my pieces, and the store set up wasn’t the most visitor friendly place for that…not to mention it had a lot more details involved in the upkeep and descriptions and options for all the items. My husband suggested that I go with more of a blog type website that way I could put up pictures of my different work or projects and write information about them and about working on them and have a way people could contact me if they did see something they wanted to buy. This way, it would be a little more personal and people could see a little behind the scenes of what goes on with my beading and be able to see my work without all the pressure of price tags and shopping cart programs, etc. Plus, he wagers that having a blog will encourage me to write and to bead more, both of which would be beneficial to me since I have a passion for each type of work but struggle with making the time to partake in their pleasures. So far it’s working quite well.

I bet you weren’t as picky with your choices as I was.
Also, get some photos up of your work, STAT.

Last night I uploaded all the items in my catalog, tonight I’ll get some description info added to them and then put them in the gallery.

Ok so obviously I wasn’t able to get those descriptions done last night. We ended up barely being home last night until, well, morning so I am working on them tonight.
